Job Title: Quality Inspector / Auditor

Reports to: Quality Supervisor and Quality Manager
Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. Perform daily inspection to production parts during incoming, in-process, & outgoing stages to record the results of their inspections through test reports. When they find defects, inspectors notify supervisors and help to analyze and correct production problems. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products, checking the products by sight, sound, or feel to locate imperfections such as cuts, scratches, superficial coating defects, leaks and possible damaged material. Complete accurate records (on paper and electronic data) in order to provide excellent results. These records include inspection reports, data sheets , label sheets. Understand the function and purpose of these records. input data to computer using different software’s. Observe and follow all Quality / Safety Procedures.
NOTE: Other duties may be required other than what is stated above. Training will be provided on and as needed basis.
- High School or GED.
- Bilingual (English - Spanish).
- 3-month experience in quality department in a manufacturing plant.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gages.
- Individual must be able to work well in teams.
- Person shall be flexible on working hours and working days.
- Basic experience using Microsoft office software (excel, word, PowerPoint).
- Be a multitask person.
